What a lovely week we have had here at Nursery! As we move closer to Christmas, the children have been full of festive spirit and enthusiasm.

Throughout the week, our rooms have been filled with Little Donkey, Jingle Bells and Twinkle Twinkles, with the children happily singing their favourite Christmas tunes. It’s been wonderful to see their confidence grow as they join in with actions, tunes, and plenty of smiles.

We have also been very busy with Christmas crafts, full of sparkle which the children will be bringing home at the end of term. The conversations that happen during craft activities provides opportunity for language development, talking about Christmas, sharing resources and practising waiting patiently. I think we have had every bit of crafty resource known to us out this week! And why not!?  The children have enjoyed exploring different materials, colours and textures. 

After a tricky spell of coughs and colds, we are delighted to say the children are back on terrific form and the Christmas buzz is definitely beginning to build!
