Nursery Enjoy Turn-Taking

The Nursery children have been investigating woodland animals through three different stories, role-play and creative activities. As part of our Owl Babies learning, they made pompom and paint owlets and talked about their beaks, claws, wings and big eyes. The Leaf Thief provided an opportunity to further explore autumn and squirrels, and the children had a go at adding tails to their squirrel pictures. The story Don’t Hog the Hedge has helped the children develop emotional literacy around sharing and turn-taking. All the fluffy woodland animals have been tucked up in their beds in the role-play area, and the children have enjoyed collaborating during free play.
