Reception Have a Super Week

What an exciting week we have had in Reception! Monday brought an unexpected twist with a power cut, which sparked some fascinating conversations. The children explored nocturnal animals, discovered where light comes from, and learned how our eyes adapt to darkness. We even enjoyed a story about eating carrots to help with night vision!

On Tuesday, we felt incredibly proud of the children during our Remembrance Service. They showed respect and calmness as they observed the two-minute silence.

In maths, we have been busy partitioning numbers using aliens and planets! The children are learning that no matter how you split a number, the total always stays the same.

Finally, Friday was a burst of colour and creativity as the children arrived dressed as real and fictional superheroes. What a super way to end the week! Thank you for your continued support, we can’t wait to see what next week brings!
