Year 4 Make Cave Art
Year 4 Outdoor Ed continued their exploration of the senses with a mindfulness activity — tasting a raisin as if they were Martians experiencing Earth food for the first time. Never has a humble raisin been more savoured! Mindful eating helps us become more aware of what we consume.
Next, the children delved deeper into the world of Stig of the Dump, gathering ideas and inspiration from France’s Lascaux Caves, decorated 17,000 years ago. Using chalk and charcoal, they decorated Hazlegrove in true Stone Age style!
