We have had an amazing time in Pre-School this week, with lots of busy learning. We started the week with talking about language related to time, we used the words first, next, after that and finally. We used our visual timetable to sequence our day. We then moved on to talking about preparing to bake and talked about what we needed to do. We decided we would first wash our hands, then put an apron on and finally sit at the table. We then followed instructions to make some bread dough. It was lovely to see everyone taking turns and working as a team to prepare the dough. We poured, mixed, rubbed in and kneaded the dough before leaving it to prove. Later, we used scissors to make snips in the dough to create our own seashell bread rolls. Once the rolls were baked, we enjoyed them for snack with butter which we spread ourselves.

In music, we have been joining in with familiar songs and rhymes with actions using our hands/feet and on Monday, we all enjoyed using the bikes and trikes, the children have impressed us with their balance and confidence.
