This morning, the annexe was transformed into a bustling café scene, transporting us all to Parisian streets on the banks of the Seine.  The Year 5 children enthusiastically participated in various games designed to reinforce their French vocabulary related to food, drinks, and common café phrases.  They then took turns playing the roles of waiters and customers, to take orders and serve each other. The atmosphere was filled with lively French conversations and this immersive experience not only enhanced their language skills but also boosted their confidence in speaking French. The event was a fantastic way to bring the language to life, so they are now well-equipped to enjoy those cafés in Paris .  Bon appétit!
