What a way to celebrate the end of Year 8! Fantastic Mr Fox was a vibrant production that brought the entire year group together in a celebration of talent, teamwork and creativity.

The show was a huge ensemble effort, with every pupil playing a role in bringing Roald Dahl’s much-loved story to life. The energy on stage was electric, and the incredible singing, supported by a live band, lifted the performance to new heights. From quick-fire dialogue to hilarious character moments, the cast showed real confidence and flair.

Amazingly, the pupils managed to learn all their lines and musical numbers in under two weeks, a huge achievement in itself, and they did it with endless enthusiasm and a brilliant sense of fun. 

Putting on a full-scale production is no mean feat, but thanks to the dedication of the pupils and the tireless support of the Hazlegrove staff team, it all came together in spectacular style. The show was a wonderful testament to what can be achieved when everyone pulls together.

Bravo, Year 8—you should be incredibly proud of what you have accomplished. What a fantastic finale!
