Nursery Choose Favourite Flavour of Ice-Cream
This week, our Nursery children have been captivated by the story of Sheldon's New Shell. They encountered a troubling scene in the water tray, where sea creatures were trapped in pieces of rubbish and their home was polluted by oil. The children reflected on how the animals might be feeling, how the rubbish ended up in the sea, and their own feelings about the situation. They then took action to rescue the animals and transform their ocean into a happy home once again.
On Thursday, the children got creative by making their own crabs and designing unique shells for Sheldon, ensuring they were free from litter. They also worked together to bake sea creature biscuits, decorating them with delicious blue icing and sprinkles.
We were incredibly impressed by the children's strength, determination, and perseverance during Sports Day! They proudly showcased their physical skills to their family members. As a reward for their hard work, they visited the Nursery ice cream shop on Friday, choosing their favourite ice cream flavours and topping them with sprinkles.
What a fun and busy week!
