Let's ask the experts! Reception have loved becoming wombat experts this week by developing their knowledge of the cheeky animal that has feature so heavily in our story 'Wombat Stew'. The children have been fascinated by the many facts they have learnt, using these to create wonderful posters. Presenting these was a lovely way to showcase all their knowledge and showed their incredible teamwork! We also enjoyed the sunshine after a damp few days, truly lifting our spirits as we splashed in the paddling pool in our wonderful outside area. The children have also continued to explore aboriginal art this week, looking carefully at patterns, pictures and colours and incorporating them into their own unique designs.  We learned about the importance of artwork in the aboriginal culture expanding our knowledge and understanding of people around the world.  The children took great time and care decorating their rainmakers.
