Year 1 created some amazing non-chronological reports on Meerkats this week in English, learning how to make notes, write titles and subheadings and use generalisers too. The children gathered superb facts about where Meerkats live, what they eat and what they look like. The children were very proud when their amazing reports were displayed on the walls. In Maths, we have been halving, adding and working with money. Our silhouette pictures look superb for display, and we are practising hard for our summer showcase next Friday. Huge congratulations to all the children for their amazing effort during the sponsored cycle ride. They showed courage, resilience and above all a sense of fun as they rode round obstacles and through the woods on their various modes of transport!
