It has been wonderful to welcome the children back this week, full of excitement and eager to see their friends and teachers again! They have spent lots of time exploring the new Jungle themed classroom provision, a particular favourite being the Jungle explorer role play area! We have been reminding ourselves of the classroom rules, how to be kind to our friends and how to express our emotions. We have revisited one of our favourite stories ‘The Colour Monster’ and the children chose a monster to represent how they were feeling and why. The children have enjoyed lots of time outside, enjoying our new garden equipment and planting sunflower seeds during Forest School.
