Pre-School Create Mothers' Day Cards
Pre-School have been busy working hard on lots of creative activities this week ready to take home and share with their families. Using pastel coloured pasta in various shapes, they have been creating repeating patterns which they then added to egg shapes. They have also been inspired by our Kandinsky artwork to create some beautiful Mother’s Day cards- the children have worked hard on their name writing for their Mummy.
Using multicoloured eggs, Pre-School have been counting, sorting by colour and size which has led to lots of mathematical language being used.
On our eggstravaganza day the children had so much fun creating chocolate easter nests, cards and some special Easter sandwiches. It has been wonderful to observe children’s confidence and skills grow over the past few weeks with regular cooking activities to learn how to use a range of tools safely.
I wish everyone a safe and happy holiday and look forward to seeing everyone next term.
