Nursery Working with Paints

This week in Nursery, a mystery tank appeared in the classroom. The children thought it was a tank of “jelly” so, we read the story of ‘The teeny-weeny tadpole’ to see if it would help us uncover the mystery. The book explained the life cycle of the frog and the children were delighted to find out that we had some frogspawn in the tank. They have been excited to arrive at Nursery each day to see if they are changing. We have been practicing taking one away when singing 'Five speckled frogs'.

Elsewhere, we have been very happy to enjoy the springtime sun and have been out and about spotting signs of Spring! The children have painted some beautiful daffodil paintings and made caterpillar and butterfly prints using balloons and sponges.

We are looking forward to a week of making some special Easter and Mother's Day gifts next week with some Easter surprises along the way!
