Pre-School Enjoy Character Role-Play
Pre-School children have had a wonderful start to the term, having impressed us all with their listening skills and settled back into our routines quickly. This week we have been sharing a poem called “Winter Time” by Mary Ryer which we have acted out and have explored the new vocabulary it contained. In our learning environment, we have created dressing-up opportunities that everyone has enjoyed, and the role play in character has been lovely to observe. We took part in a Winter walk, during which we hunted for signs of Winter in the woods and the children made some interesting observations. We will continue our Winter Wonderland theme next week with a classic Percy the Park Keeper story, “One Snowy Night”.
