Swimming and Superheroes for Reception This Week
This week the children have been thinking about superheroes in their own families and their superpowers.
Daddies giving super cuddles, Mummies making super roast dinners and brothers and sisters doing super playing and sharing toys have been some of the suggestions.
We have also been thinking about the foods we eat and how they can make us super healthy and super strong. In the middle of the week the children were introduced to the artist Guiseppe Arcimboldo who creates beautiful paintings using food images. We then made our own fruit and vegetable collage faces and enjoyed munching on them afterwards!
On Thursday we invited our Grandparents in for a story and activity afternoon – where we got to try some tropical fruits and vegetables! It has been an extremely delicious week.
