An inspirational visit from Cameron Kurle, Olympian and Double Commonwealth Medalist

Hazlegrove was delighted to welcome Olympian and Double Commonwealth Medalist, Cameron Kurle, back for an inspirational visit.

Cameron was part of the GB team that competed in Rio at the 2016 Olympics where he made his senior international debut competing in the 200m freestyle swimming. Most recently, he was part of the England team that competed at the Gold Coast Common Wealth Games 2018 where he won a Silver Medal in the 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay and a Silver Medal in the 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay.

Cameron spoke in assembly and shared advice and encouragement with the children, who were clearly thrilled to meet him.
