Hazlegrove Pupils competed at NSEA National Grassroots Finals

NSEA Schools Riding Grassroots National Finals at Hickstead

During the summer, our HZG riding team travelled to West Sussex and to the prestigious Hickstead Showground to compete in the National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) National Grassroots Finals – something for which they had worked hard throughout the year to qualify.  

HZG teams competed in both the 60cm and 70cm Finals and all of our riders and ponies performed well.  Mrs Cobb was delighted with everyone’s performance and approach to the competition and said, ‘An overnight stay at such a great venue is always very exciting and a special well done to Grace who finished a brilliant 4^th individually in the warm-up class.  We look forward to lots of school riding events in the coming weeks and months.’
