An Exciting Weekend of Sporting Fixtures

On Sunday, 13 Year 8 boys travelled to Rugby School to play in the inaugural IAPS National Rugby Festival. It was a very special day with our HZG boys really enjoying the occasion.

Being able to play their matches on the pitches where rugby started so many years ago was a real treat and something that they will remember for years to come.

HZG Athletes had a successful day at Southwest Schools Biathlon, 45 children were entered into this event that took place over the weekend in Yeovil. All children had to do a timed run and a timed swim – the points are then added together.

Congratulations to the following pupils who were awarded medals:

Blake W, Hunter B, and Barnaby E received bronze medals in Under 9 Boys.

Arthur F, Raff S and Will M received bronze medals in Under 13 Boys

Lucy B, Emily C and Katinka T received silver medals in Under 10 Girls

Harry F, Magnus M and Leon D received silver medals in Under 11 Boys

Bibi A, Freja N and Bella P received silver medals in Under 12 Girls
