Prep Boarding

Boarders enjoyed an action-packed Sunday this weekend despite the February weather!

After a thoughtful chapel service delivered by Mrs Hughes, pupils reflected upon their week during letter writing, and then prepared themselves for the morning activities which included art, out-and-about around the school grounds and fun fitness-based sports hall games.

After lunch, we embarked on our visit to The Fleet Air Arm Museum, located at RNAS Yeovilton which is Europe’s largest naval aviation museum. Boarders marvelled at over ninety aircraft, some of which date back over 100 years! A particular highlight was stepping on board the first British Concorde and boarding the replica flight deck of the aircraft carrier 'HMS Ark Royal’ using the very convincing shaky helicopter simulator. Following the day's events in such challenging weather, the boarders were more than happy to cap off the day with an early evening film and a hot roast dinner!
