Our Millionaires Lunch 2023

Today, we celebrated the remarkable achievements of our young readers at the 2023 Millionaires’ Lunch. A grand total of 50 children, their faces beaming with pride, attended this special event. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and camaraderie as they sat down to a fabulous lunch, a well-deserved treat for their hard work and dedication.

Among the attendees, a special mention must go to Indigo E from Year 6. Indigo has achieved the extraordinary feat of ‘Triple Millionaire’ status, a testament to his unwavering commitment and passion for reading. In addition, we are proud to announce that three more of our avid readers have reached ‘Double Millionaire’ status. Their accomplishments serve as an inspiration to us all.

As a school, we’ve hit a significant milestone this term - we’ve read over 100 million words! This achievement is truly remarkable and a reflection of the collective effort of our entire school community. It’s been a term filled with countless adventures, lessons, and journeys, all through the power of reading.

Here’s to our Millionaires’ Club, to the worlds they’ve explored, and the ones they’ve yet to discover. Keep turning those pages!
