Year 8 Design Technology Projects

Year 8 are embarking on their final DT projects at Hazlegrove for this academic year. They have begun the Autumn Term with their pine softwood message takers or, as we affectionately call them, the ‘Nodding Dog’. 

This project will involve a range of hand tool and machine skills that they have been developing and experimenting with in past projects and which will all be applied to their finished pieces. 

Accuracy of measuring will be crucial as the groups batch produce their models, as well as an emphasis on the quality of finish. Needless to say, a lot of passion and love will have gone into their Nodding Dogs once finished and we can't wait for you to see the final product!
