Year 4 Enjoy Cook Out Around the Campfire

The weather was kind (if chilly!), the kitchens provided the most delicious food for us to cook – and the children were in great form for our cookout last Friday.

We warmed up with an energetic game of manhunt in the woods before Mr Birch taught the children how to cook their food safely and sensibly on the stoves. Garlic bread and baked potatoes filled us up but there was just enough room for bananas stuffed with chocolate chips and marshmallows, cooked on the campfire. The evening ended with a ghostly story from Mr Birch.

We loved seeing the children having such fun with their friends in the open air!
