Rugby

The term has started well on the rugby fields and lots of boys have enjoyed playing in local festivals; it was great to see our U8 boys enjoying their first taste of tag rugby last week.  See rugby photos from this term here.

Swimming

The swimming team had an exciting start to the year with a great match against Sherborne last Thursday. The final score reflects a super standard of swimming from our senior swimmers.

Biathlon

It was fantastic to see the whole school taking part in the first inter house event of the year.  The overall house honours went to Norton. We wish those that are taking part in South West biathlon and the Leweston time trails well for this Sunday and next Sunday.

Riding

Hazlegrove have been busy and a team and individual win at the recent Blundells One Day Event at Bicton was certainly a highlight. Congratulations to Emily Weeks, Josh Cobb, Lily and Anna Ingvaldson .  Last weekend 14 Hazlegrove riders competed at the Leweston inter schools show jumping competition and we came away with lots of lovely rosettes. All of our riders in class 1 have qualified for the Regional Grassroots Finals and we were delighted to be placed 2nd or 3rd as a team in every class. A special well done to Mimi Digby who won Class 4 on her debut ride for Hazlegrove.
