Year 2 Have Been Writing to Father Christmas

As the end of term approaches, the enthusiasm of the children has not faltered and they have worked on a variety of tasks including a special letter to someone who will be visiting on the 24th.

These letters were full of lovely questions for Father Christmas which I’m sure he will enjoy reading.

The hardworking elves inspired us to get crafty and cards, boxes and other beautiful creations have appeared in the classroom. The children of Year 2 have been working hard to develop their theatre voices ready for their roles in the Pre-Prep Nativity this week. The addition of costumes elevated their amazing performances, and it was a joy to see them confidently bringing the “Prickly Hay” story to life!
