Year 6 Record Breakers in The Design Technology Department This Week!

6P2 have just completed their Tacoma Narrows bridge-building challenge.
Each team of two started with 16 paper straws, one piece of card and five strips of masking tape. After researching bridge structures, they were given two timed sessions to build their final design. The top three designs all beat the previous weight carried by last term's Year 6 winners and Harry and Sacha absolutely smashed the record by holding 5kg!
