Year 7 and 8 Art Scholars Enjoyed Their Trip To Roche Court New Art Centre

The Year 7 and 8 Art Scholars spent a rather blustery Monday at Roche Court New Art Centre in Wiltshire.
Throughout the tour, they were accompanied by Cesca Bex, an accomplished artist and specialist educator. She led the students in discussions about the various pieces of artwork and encouraged them to voice their opinions and challenge their assumptions. In the afternoon, the 16 students completed their own pieces of art based on 'Celloswarm' by Bill Woodrow, by crafting a bug stamp and printing it onto paper and material. What an inspiring day out for all.
