Only One Week to Go Until The Friends of Hazlegrove Ball and Charity Auction

Over the next week, the front lawn of the School will transform ready for The Friends of Hazlegrove Charity Ball.  Needless to say, everyone is very excited to see all the planning and hard work come together, and we cannot wait to welcome guests to enjoy what will surely be a night to remember.  The Charity Auction and Raffle went ‘live’ just before half term and bidding has been fierce.  The first Lot – VIP Tickets for 11 to see Harry Styles, has ended (congratulations to our lucky winner!), but with over 50 Lots remaining, there is something for everyone. This is the perfect opportunity to treat yourself, or a loved one, to something unique – perhaps you have a big birthday coming up, or want to mark the end of exam season – what better way to do so then by supporting some incredibly well deserving charities who are making huge differences to lives both in Somerset and Ukraine.

The Raffle

You will see members of the Friends Committee selling raffle tickets outside Pre-Prep, the de-reg hut and at matches in the coming week – please do look out for us (we come armed with card machines!). The Raffle is a quick and easy way of supporting The Friends, and with over £2,500 of prizes up for grabs (including luxury hampers, a unique day at The Newt and dinner for two including wine pairing at HOLM),  we are sure you won’t want to miss out!   

All proceeds go to supporting Friends of Hazlegrove, Hope and Homes for Children and Mind in Somerset. A huge thank you to everyone who has already purchased raffle tickets – we will be in touch shortly after the raffle is drawn on 18 June if you have won. All our children enjoy and make daily use of items donated to the School by the Friends, including contributions towards the Pre-Prep Bandstand, table tennis tables, the ever-popular Adventure Playground, music and theatre equipment and much more.
