8S Are Taking Part In A Charity Sleep Out In Aid Of Yeovil Street Pastors

As part of the 8S Scholarship programme, we offer support to a local charity which helps people who are experiencing homelessness in our local area.

This year, the chosen charity is Yeovil Street Pastors. The children are asking people to sponsor them as they sleep outside for a night. They will get ready for a night of sleeping outside – in a way that will allow them to experience, albeit temporarily, what it is like to be homeless. The children will be using sleeping bags but will be sleeping outside the Fitzjames Building, in the passageways, on cardboard.
