The whole of Hazlegrove from Nursery to Year 8, staff and parents gathered in front of the cricket pavilion on Friday morning ready to do our Sport Relief Mile.

Mrs Arnold led a lively warm-up to ensure there were no pulled muscles or other such injuries before everyone lined up for the off.  The whistle went and the run was on and what a sight it was to behold.  Led by some of the serious runners, the rest of the school followed whether they were running, skipping, crawling, three-legged, four-legged, going backwards, kicking a football or one of the other imaginative ways people had dreamt up to complete their mile for sport relief.

Sam C was first past the post followed shortly by younger brother Josh and Skye F was the first girl to finish.  As everyone else followed the welcome party at the finish swelled in ranks cheering everyone to the line.

It was a fabulous effort by all and fantastic fun all in the name of Sport Relief.  We raised a total of £420.
