Earlier this week, Hazlegrove retained their national title in the Lady Taverners Under 13 National Indoors Finals which took place at Lords.

Having won the Somerset County title and the South West Regional title the girls had earned their place at Lords playing against 4 other schools from across the country, all of whom had won their respective Regional Finals: St Ivo from Huntingdonshire, Ponteland Community Middle School from Northumberland, Packwood Haugh from Shropshire and the eventual runners up Holmwood House from Essex.

To reach this stage for the second year running was very rewarding, especially considering that 844 schools had entered in 2015.

On the day Hazlegrove played well winning all four of their matches, despite some very pressured and exciting moments. The team was superbly captained by Tilly who played brilliantly all day with both the bat and ball. However, all eight girls contributed to this success and we are very proud of their fine team achievement.
