We were absolutely thrilled to welcome Lauren Child to Hazlegrove on Friday. Every single child who was at Hazlegrove during the morning saw Lauren.

The younger children heard Lauren’s new story The New Small Person and the older children found out a lot about Ruby Redfort. It was a great morning with everybody being in high spirits and excited to have such a world famous author come to our school.

Many thanks to Mr and Mrs H T for their help in arranging for Lauren to visit, and many thanks to Lauren for coming all the way to Somerset specially to see us.

We were delighted to present a cheque for £300.00 to Lauren for a charity she supports Kids Company.
