This week in Nursery, we have been celebrating ‘our Mummy’.

The Ladybirds and Dragonflies started the week looking at the story ‘My Mum’. Using pictures, the children spoke fondly about their Mummies, answering simple questions about what makes them so special. Throughout the week, the children have been busy making and crafting special gifts for their Mummies.  The Butterflies have been reading the story 'Guess how much I love you' and talking about what they love doing with their Mummy.

They moved their bodies in different ways to represent how much they love their Mummies and using photos brought in from home, the children painted paper plates to represent their Mummy. They thought about the colour of her hair, eyes and mouth. As the week continued the children have made and created some beautiful gifts.
