Hazlegrove join King's School Bruton for a Brilliant Concert

This week, many of our keen musicians took a trip over to King's School Bruton to take part in the Joint Concert.

The concert was an excellent showcase of the two music departments, with some items involving both schools’ pupils.

We took our Boys' Vocal Group, Girls' Vocal Group, Swing Band, Percussion Group and String Groups and they all performed brilliantly. Some of our string and brass players joined the KSB orchestra and wind band for Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance and The Great Escape finale. 

It was well received and they loved performing in the new music school with the inspiring acoustics. A very proud moment for the children to play in the hall ahead of the Queen’s visit.
