Hockey
Well done to all of our girls hockey teams who have been busy training and playing in school matches. The 1st team had a very exciting day at their IAPS Regional Finals when they played some great hockey. They were very unlucky to lose the quarter finals on sudden death penalty flicks. Good luck to the U12 team who head off to Sussex next week for their IAPS National Finals.

Rugby
The boys have enjoyed some exciting and competitive fixtures over the past few weeks. Congratulations to the U10 team who played very well at the recent Queens Festival remaining unbeaten throughout.

Cross Country
Last week 48 Hazlegrove athletes from Year 3, 4 and 5 travelled to Taunton School to compete in their Taunton Relays. It was a fun filled afternoon with some excellent racing on display.  We returned with lots of medals and very muddy shoes! There were teams from Kings Hall, Taunton and Hazlegrove and we won the following medals:

Good luck to the Year 7 and 8 runners who have their Yeovil District Trials on Friday 30 November.

Riding
It has been a busy few weeks for our school riders. We are delighted to report that we have recently qualified for both the National Eventers Finals at Hickstead and also the National Show Jumping Finals at Bury Farm – our school team and Emily W as an individual - a tremendous achievement.

Swimming
The swimming squads have been training hard and it is lovely to see the progress that is being made across the school in swimming lessons. The school team has enjoyed some close and exciting galas against Port Regis, Taunton School and Sherborne and we look forward to lots more next term.

Biathlon
Good luck to the six Hazlegrove children who are heading up to Leeds this weekend to compete in the British Biathlon Championships.
