Myths, Monsters and Mayhem... Year 5 Play ticks all the boxes!

Last week was brought to a rousing conclusion with two helpings of "The Adventures of Odysseus" served up by the Year 5s. The recipe for success: Take Homer's epic tale from nearly 3000 years ago, add a little Michael Jackson and the Proclaimers, plus Mr Birch's very own ballad "Heroes On Our Way Home". Add a pinch of Mrs Arnold's choreography and throw in 42 enthusiastic and talented Year 5s. Let it brew in the dark of the theatre for a few weeks and "voila!"; a dramatic and yet tasty offering was enjoyed by all who were fortunate enough to be there!

A huge well done to all of our Year 5s and the production team. You all worked your socks off and had a lot of fun at the same time! If this performance was anything to go by, then we can only hold our breath and wait in eager anticipation for the next time this group hits the stage as Year 6s. I'm off to book my ticket!
