Harvest celebrations for Pre-Prep this week
On Wednesday, we celebrated our Harvest Festival in the theatre together as a Pre-Prep with our children from Nursery up to Year 2 performing and cheered on by our wonderful families. It was a delight to hear the children’s beautiful voices as they sang harvest songs, and performed poetry with such clarity and confidence.
Thank you to everyone who joined us – it was such a special occasion to share with you all and wonderful to see the theatre so full of people and smiles! Thank you to all the team who helped put the festival together and who supported the children feel brave and confident enough to perform in front of an audience, especially our two-year-olds!
You have been incredibly kind with your Harvest donations of tinned goods which we will give to our local food bank, Lord’s Larder in Yeovil. As I mentioned in the Harvest Festival, we are very fortunate to have such wonderful meals prepared and cooked by our excellent catering team here at school, and it would be easy to take this for granted. Our Harvest Festival allowed us to reflect and give thanks for the food we have, and support those in need.
