The Year 3 Hazlegrove Glacerie has been open for business

Year 3 have been working so hard on their summer topic in French recently and were duly treated today to an ice cream at our very own HZG glacerie!
The pupils firstly played noughts and crosses using different ice cream flavours, then rehearsed some role play between an ice cream vendor and customer before ordering the real deal! The children were encouraged to speak only in French and did a wonderful job. Madame Dale and Madame Richards were very proud of how well everyone carried out the task and it is safe to say happy memories were made.
