It's Been a Week Full of Activities For Year 1

‘Money, Money, Money’ has been the theme in maths this week.

We have enjoyed learning the value of coins, adding them together and even using money to buy our own snack! Whilst in English, we were introduced to a story all about an owl called Plop (some might say it was the same owl who visited us some weeks ago?!) We spent time learning how speech is presented within writing and had a go at writing our own speech and speech bubbles. Whilst in Science we crafted our own rain gauges and for the first time, we willed on some rainfall so we could have a chance to try them out.
