Year 2 Had a Wonderful Trip to St Barnabas Church

St Barnabas church in Queen Camel welcomed the children of Year 2 on Tuesday morning. Reverend Rose Hoskins delighted the children with her knowledge of the church and its many features.

The children were able to listen to her playing the pipe organ, an experience few of them have had the pleasure of before. We were able to feel the power of the music being so close as she played. Recording and recalling their visit we had a great discussion about the Green Man, the towering eagle and delicious sugary shortbread! This was a valuable experience that the children thoroughly enjoyed and some saying they would be visiting their local church with deeper understanding.
