Boarders' Easter 'In Weekend' Fun

Prep Boarding

This Easter in-weekend has been one of sunshine, warmth and happiness!

Vibrant colours and creative bonnets set the tone for our Easter feast. Plenty of prizes were won, from the smallest hat to the most seasonal. The catering team laid on another gourmet delight, combined with an egg-stavagantly decorated dining room. With full tummies, it was an evening of entertainment from our resident DJ’s ‘Right Said Head’ and ‘Snoop Frog’, aka Mr Head and Mr Froggatt. Glow sticks galore, the children busted out their favourite dance moves in front of the giant inflatable screen.

Sunday saw another beautiful sunrise and Mr Shaw led our chapel reminding the children about the true meaning of Easter. Year 8 girls headed off to Street to enjoy some retail therapy, whilst at school everyone else got stuck into laser tag, go-karting, cookie making, slime making and Easter craft. Something for everyone! After a tasty roast lunch, zorb mania hit Hazlegrove. Each year group got to battle it out down the zorb track and some worthy winners were: Elieen, Louis and William.

Such a delightful way to end off the term, basking in the sunshine, having fun with friends. Just what being a boarder at Hazlegrove is all about.

Happy Easter to everyone and we hope you enjoy some quality family time over the holidays!
