The Boarders Solve a Murder Mystery!

Prep Boarding

The boarders were thrown into a thrilling murder mystery this weekend, as we travelledto the nearby town of Crewkerne to take part in a giant game of Cluedo.

Mr Shaw set the scene and supplied us with maps and a series of clues to follow. And we were off! The groups raced around the streets, taking in local landmarks like the church, old firehouse gates, and even a nature reserve, as we hunted down the clues and ticked off the suspects on our cards.

The groups worked brilliantly, taking it in turns to navigate and read the map, interpret the clues, and of course give out some red herrings to the other groups we came across! In the end, the much-prized chocolate cake was given out to the winning groups – who had managed to work out that Terry Thatcher had committed the crime, in the West Street Car Park, using the rusty wire-cutters.

Who knew that a quiet Somerset town could be such a hotbed of crime and villainy! A fantastic time was had by all, and we all enjoyed playing on the playground afterward. Huge thanks must go to Mr Shaw for putting in so much work and creating such a fantastic activity for us. This was definitely one to remember.
