World Laser Run Finals - Cape Town,  South Africa

A huge congratulation to Oliver L - he won two silver medals at the UIPM World Laser-Run Finals - a team silver for the GB team in the U13 boys and a silver medal in the U13 mixed relay. A truly unforgettable experience.

Riding

Hazlegrove riders were proud to carry the flag for England in the NSEA Nations Cup showcase competition. They came 2nd pipped at the post by Scotland by just 0.4 second.  The riders also qualified for the National Finals of the Eventers Challenge which will take place at Hickstead in April.  Click here to read more about the riders trip to the NSEA National Show Jumping Finals.

Biathlon

It was fantastic to have 45 children representing Hazlegrove in the recent qualifying event. We enjoyed a great day of competition with some brilliant results for all of the athletes.  Individual wins for Clarendon H-T , Ben L and Jake F with team wins for the U10 girls, U10 boys, U11 boys, U12 girls, U12 boys and U13 boys.  However all of the children can be very proud of their efforts and achievements.

Golf

We held a superb Golf Open at Hazlegrove and were delighted with the response.  Children from Year 3 to 8 all enjoyed the event and it was super to see the golf course looking immaculate and so busy.

Year 7 trip to the River Dart

Our Year 7’s all enjoyed a superb week on Dartmoor.  This is such a valuable experience which I am sure will stay with them for the rest of their lives.  Team building, caving, high ropes, kayaking, raft building, zip wire…. The list goes on. A very wet and muddy week but such a fun week for all.
