Hazlegrove riders were thrilled and honoured to represent England and carry the national flag in the showcase National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) Nations Cup competition.  They have also qualified to jump in the National Finals for the Eventers Challenge which will be held at Hickstead next May.

Under the bright lights of the indoor arena at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre in Buckinghamshire and with a huge amount of support for all home nations there was an exciting compettion.  Hazlegrove finished a very close 2nd for England to Scotland  with just 0.4 of a second splitting the two teams.  It was a truly unforgettable experience and one that the children will never forget.

It is was a tremendous honour for the Hazlegrove children to be riding under the England flag.  They earned the right to do so by first winning the NSEA Somerset County Championships and then going on to win the National County Championships last April.

At the same competition, the Hazlegrove riders won many rosettes and awards and in the Eventers Challenge event, finishing in 2nd place and qualifying to jump at Hickstead next May at the National Finals.

Very well done everyone.
