The children have become newspaper reporters in Year 2

The children have become newspaper reporters in Year 2
Share
Pre-Prep PrePrep

“Read all about it!” could easily be the cry heard around the corridors of the Pre-Prep and Year 2.

The children have become newspaper reporters full of creative flair, as they wrote about that fateful night the SS Forfarshire hit the rocks and broke in two. Descriptive phrases could be heard as the children described the scene. They all dramatically retold the story. The children’s creative talents were also put to good use when they designed a photo frame which they will finish next week when they have a special photograph to put in it from our trip. Both classes have been counting the days and are very excited about their day out at the seaside on Friday. Sun sea and ice cream will be the agenda for the day for everyone. Digging tunnels and building sandcastles will also be an essential task, maybe we will find some treasure to bring back to school!
