The Year 7s have been working extremely hard on the task of designing an energy efficient sports venue over the past few weeks in lessons.

There has been a real emphasis on developing as many cross-curricular links as possible between subjects within school and promoting STEM. Weeks of hard work culminated in a wonderful afternoon of children sharing their creations with each other as well as other children in the school and staff members at our STEM Fair.

Their designs were judged by Laurie Phippard, Simon Griffin-Raphael and Sadie Osborne from King's Bruton, who were all immensely impressed by how the children had gone 'above and beyond' with their work.

A huge well done must be given to all of the children for taking part in such good spirit and a special congratulations to the winning team HGT Sports!
