It was wonderful to welcome so many of you into the classroom on Tuesday morning to share our learning around the story Stone Soup. The children were incredibly proud to show you their fantastic writing and enjoyed taking part in vegetable-weighing and counting activities. There was some wonderful retelling of the story in the sand tray, and it was lovely to see the children confidently sharing their favourite areas of the classroom with you and demonstrating their excellent communication and language skills.

In Drawing Club this week, we have been imagining ingredients for our own soups, although we are not quite sure that ice cream and doughnuts would make the tastiest recipe! On Thursday, we made our own hearty vegetable soup and enjoyed it with bread at snack time, which was delicious. In our creative work, we have also been busy making harvest crowns, ready for next week's Harvest Festival.
