The Year 2 children were delighted to meet the character Puffin Peter this week! We have enjoyed finding out about puffins, including where they live, what they eat and some of the special features that help them thrive in their habitat.

In Maths, we are beginning to think about our times tables by counting confidently in 2s, 5s and 10s. Through practical activities and number patterns, the children are building strong foundations for multiplication.

In Art, the children have loved exploring pastels to create amazing fruit drawings. They looked carefully at shape, colour and detail, producing bright and expressive artwork to be proud of. We have also been making the most of the lovely September weather, enjoying time outdoors and noticing the seasonal changes around us.
