Year 8 yesterday started their new topic, Whispers in the Gloom, which is based on the novel The Woman in Black. We are exploring the Gothic genre and learning how to create tension and mystery in our writing.

8S are learning more about creating tone in different types of writing and will be studying a range of poems, writing about the differences in tone within them.
