Year 6 developed their drama skills through characterisation, taking inspiration from Roald Dahl’s wonderfully imaginative The BFG, in one of Miss Agg-Manning's lessons. The children explored how actors use movement, facial expressions, body language and voice to bring characters to life on stage. Stepping into the shoes of the Big Friendly Giant and other memorable characters from the story, pupils experimented with different ways of showing personality and emotion through performance.
