Year 4 Embrace the Rainy Weather at their Campout

It rained and rained...
A rain cloud sat on top of our campout for nearly two hours. Did the children notice? Hardly at all. Luckily, the tents were put up while it was dry and we all snuggled in our tents before cooking a delicious supper under the shelter. Camping songs kept spirits up until suddenly…the rain stopped. Out we went to the campfire, where our chocolate marshmallow bananas warmed our tummies together with hot chocolate. Mr Birch’s ghost story finished the evening perfectly.
A great camping experience was had by all.
